The DBD Trio
was born out of the need to rebuild the tradition of jazz playing in Rzeszów. It is a meeting of three friends in a classical piano trio convention: Mateusz Dymek (piano), Dominik Drapikowski (drums), Piotr Bober (double bass). Drawing inspiration from both traditional jazz and modern sounds, without hesitating to reach for the avant-garde, the musicians have developed a characteristic sound that is difficult to imitate.
