Elin Rosseland
Under studies from Norges Musikkhøyskole (1980-84) there are some events in the band such as «Kix» (1982-86), «Fryn Alg» (1983-84), Winds Hot & Cool (1983-84, LPs «Nostalgia up to date" 1984) and Stein Eide Band (1983-86), foruten at hun starts in kvintett i eget navn og hadde Molde-debut med denne i 1985. Bandet hennes fikk navnet "Fair Play" (1987-90) og spilte inn plate with same name våren 1988.

Ved siden on that side of the platenspillinger with Lars Martin Myhre («Bak spelet» 1983-85) and Espen Rud («Hotelsuite» 1984), sang in Christian Reim kvartett 1984-87, and var i årene 1986-94 with the words « Søyr" (plates "Vectors" 1987 and "Bussene lengter hjem" 1993-94). Ellers på 1980-tallet deltok hun på plateinnspilling med Helge Hurum (“Fata morgana” 1987) and var 1987-89 with the groups “Et Cetera” and “U and Z”.

På 1990-tallet utviklet hun videre sin sangteknikk i bruk av elektronikk, dertil ved å formidle spinning texts from norsk velvety lyrics. I 1993 worked on Sidsel Endresen's Molde project, then played on CD'er with "The Source" (1995), Karl Seglem/Reidar Skår (1996) and Helge Iberg (1992-2001), and worked on the duo med bassist Johannes Eick, from 1996 converted to a trio with Christian Wallumrød (CD'en «Fra himmelen» 1996). Johannes Eick and Rob Waring. For Nils Petter Molværs CD "er", released 2005, released on the track "Softer", and in 2007 released by Helge Iberg on CD "ReHumaniZing", followed by "Standards and Vanguards" in 2009, with two songs because all sides sing. In 2007 we released a new CD with our own trio (with Rob Wariong and Mats Eilertsen), all later called «Trio». In 2009 came Tore Johansen's "Jazz Mass" with Rosseland, which is the same as the motto of Radka Toneff's Minnepris.

In 2013 we recorded our own CD, «Ekko», together with the Trondheim Jazz Orchestra, and in 2013–14 we recorded our own a cappella album «Vokal» together with the Trondheim Voices and Fauna vocal vintet..

Air Play
is founded on an old musical collaboration that couldn't help but be resurrected! Now they are visiting Jazzfest with brand new music, where all their musical qualities and expressions, from many years as key Norwegian jazz musicians, are presented in beautiful interplay.

The musicians played together in Fair Play for ten years, from 1982 to 1992, then with Trond Kopperud on drums. After Kopperud passed away in 2021, the former members of Fair Play started this new band, as a tribute to Trond.

In the band we find Elin Rosseland, Vigleik Storaas, Tor Yttredal and Johannes Eick. There is a lot of new experience that has been gathered since the last time, but the starting point for the music is the same - the intermediate magic in melody, rhythm, improvisation, timbre and joint expression.
