"The 13th Star Deluxe 2023 Remix" track list contains a brand new 2022 remix of the original album by Calum Malcolm and material including previously unreleased acoustic tracks from BBC sessions for Bob Harris and the Fishheads Club show at St Mary’s Church in Haddington, a rare 2007 demo and tracks from the album performed live at the Nearfest USA show in 2008 only previously available on DVD. All the tracks on this collection were remastered in 2022 by Calum Malcolm.

13th Star is an album by Fish. Released as a limited edition via mail-order in September 2007 and to retail in February 2008, it is his ninth solo studio album since he left Marillion in 1988 and the first since Field of Crows (2004).

FISH
Derek William Dick alias FISH, erlangte 1981 erste Bekanntheit als Sänger der britischen Rockgruppe Marillion, mit welcher er unter anderem die beiden Top-Ten-Hits »Kayleigh, Lavender« und »Incommunicado« landete. Nach 7 Jahren und insgesamt vier Studio- & zwei Livealben verließ Derek 1988 die Band und startete seine Solokarriere. Doch Derek begeistert als FISH nicht nur mit seiner Musik. Neben gelegentlichen Auftritten in britischen Fernsehproduktionen moderierte er zwischen März und Juni 2007 die Radio-Show „Fish on Fridays“ beim britischen Digital-Radiosender Planetrock.com.

Nachdem FISH 1994 erstmalig unplugged unterwegs war, ging er 2010/2011 erneut auf Akustik Tour, um das Publikum allein mit Hilfe seiner Stimme und Klavier- und Gitarrenbegleitung in den Bann zu ziehen. Das tut er nun seitdem regelmäßig mit großem Erfolg. Sein neuestes Album, auch als sein letztes angekündigt, wird "Weltschmerz" heißen und 2020 erscheinen.
