Info zu Romberg: Arts and Signs
Acclaimed composer Martin Romberg presents Arts and Signs, a striking new piano album performed by Alexandra Silocea. This release explores the deep connection between music, symbolism, and visual art, offering an immersive and ethereal listening experience.
Romberg, known for his ability to blend classical tradition with modern storytelling, crafts a series of evocative works that resonate with poetic depth. Inspired by mythology, fantasy literature, poetry and the works of notorious Norwegian painter Odd Nerdrum, Arts and Signs invite listeners on a journey through sound and meaning. French Romanian pianist Alexandra Silocea brings these pieces to life with technical mastery and profound expression, capturing both the complexity and emotional power of Romberg’s music.
With Arts and Signs, Romberg continues to expand the boundaries of contemporary piano music, creating a sound world that is both meditative and timeless. This release is a must-hear for lovers of dream-worlds and narrative-driven piano music.
