Authentic flamenco, raw and intense! Renown in his community in Sevilla, Spain, Carlos Heredia is the consummate Flamenco guitarist and his ensemble of traditional musicians, including palmas and singers, invigorate the recording with a rich history. This is authentic flamenco - raw and intense.

Carlos Heredia is originally from Sevilla, Spain, guitarist Carlos Heredia plays contemporary flamenco strongly rooted in traditional forms. Along with his performance schedule, Heredia also builds guitars and takes on students from all over the world who travel to Spain in order to study with him.

His album Gypsy Flamenco was released on Chesky Records in 1996. It features Carlos and host of talented musicians including Jason McGuire, Michael Kiaer, cantaor Fermin Carmona, Antonio Granjero, Rafaela Reyes, and Alda Ruter.

Carlos Heredia
is a jazz guitarist and educator from Riobamba, Ecuador. He got his B.A. in Contemporary Music Performance from the Universidad San Francisco de Quito in Ecuador; and his M.M. in Jazz Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston. He has performed and recorded as a collaborator in several places around the world like Boston, MA; Jacksonville, FL; Quito, EC; and New Delhi, IN; and he’s been featured in albums like Chris Mondak’s “Eternal Youth” (2019) or RichArt!’s “The 8bit love song”, and he’s been part of jazz ensembles like E-Jazz, The Chris Mondak’s Jazz Quartet, KHQ Trio, Silver Jazz Trio, among others. At the moment he is located in New Delhi, India teaching guitar at the Global Music Institute.
