Jan Krzeszowiec
He graduated with honours from the Wrocław Karol Lipiński Music Acade­my at Professor Jerzy Mrozik’s class. For prominent achieve­ments, he was awarded a honorary Primus Inter Pares title by the Vice-Chancellor’s Council.

He was awarded at numerous flute contests at home and abroad, including the ones in Warsaw, Cracow, Bucharest and Città di Aversa. He has won Ministry of Culture and Art, and Silesian Voivideship scholarships. He participated in numerous master classes, perfecting his technique and interpretation under the guidance of such masters as Patrick Gallois, András Adorjan, Jeanne Baxtresser, Julius Baker, János Bálint, Mirjam Nastasi, Peter-Lukas Graf.

He is an active musician. As soloist and chamber musician, Jan Krzeszowiec took part in many festivals, including the Warsaw Autumn, Musica Polonica Nova, Musica Electronica Nova, Paweł Szymański Festival, The Silesian String Quartet and its Guests, Music on the Heights, Young Artists in Cracow, Witold Lutosławski Lublin Contempo­rary Art Forum, Cantus Organi, Wrocław Guitar Festival, Eastern Music Festival in Greensboro (USA).

Since 2001, he has been a flute soloist at Witold Lutosławski Philharmonic Orchestra in Wrocław. He collaborates with a number of ensembles, including Trio Aristos, Silesian String Quartet, Wratislavia Chamber Orchestra, Morphing Vienna Chamber Orchestra, Polish Chamber Philharmonic Sopot, The New Music Orchestra, Leopoldinum Chamber Orchestra, Film Harmony Orchestra.

At present, he teaches at the Music Academy he had graduated from, and also at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice.

Since 2007, he has been Vice-President of the Polish Flute Players Society.

Szymon Krzeszowiec
steeamed violinist, soloist and chamber musician. A graduate of The Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice in the class of professor Roman Lasocki and of The Conservatorium van Amsterdam in the class of professor Herman Krebbers. Winner of violin competitions in Poznań (National Zdzisław Jahnke Violin Competition), Warsaw (Tadeusz Wroński Solo Violin Competition) and Brescia (Italy). Winner of the first prize in chamber music competitions in Copenhagen and Sondershausen (string trio Aristos). Over the past 20 years as a soloist he has performed with the best orchestras such as the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Sinfonia Varsovia and with the majority of philharmonic orchestras in the country. Since 2001, the concertmaster of the Silesian Quartet, with which he performs regularly all over the world.

He cooperates on a permanent basis with the pianist Wojciech Świtała, with whom he recorded the complete violin sonatas of Johannes Brahms for Sony Classical Poland. His work includes more than 30 CDs for labels such as EMI Poland, Naxos, ECM, DUX, dacapo and Radio Katowice.

Szymon Krzeszowiec is also involved in pedagogy, directing the Department of Violin and conducting the class of violin at his alma mater. He performs artistic custody of the International Academy of Art in Zakopane and the International Violin Festival in Katowice.

Since 2004 he participates in the summer International Festival of Chamber Music Ensemble in Książ.

He is often invited to the juries of national and international violin competitions.

In 2008 he received a grant under the programme “Young Poland” of the National Cultural Centre. With the Silesian Quartet he has received, i.a., Golden Badge of Honour for Services to the Province of Silesia (2005), Gloria Artis Medal (2008), and the Medal of the Witold Lutosławski Society (2015).

Adam Krzeszowiec
He graduated with honours from Karol Szymański Academy of Music, as a student of Prof. Paweł Głombik. Adam Krzeszowiec was also a student of Prof. Frans Helmerson at Hochschule für Music und Tanz in Cologne; and of Gary Hoffman at Musicale Reine Elizabeth in Brussels. The history of his studies includes also masterclasses with most distinguished world cellists such as: Heinrich Schiff, Miklos Miklós Perényi, Gustav Rivinius, David Geringas and Pieter Wispelwey.

He is a prizewinner of many international cello competitions i.a. London, Paris, Hradec, Warsaw, Katowice, Dąbrowa Górnicza. He has been performinf as a soloist and a chamber musician in some of the biggest concert halls in Europe, in Wigmore Hall in London, Victoria Hall in Geneva, Salle Gaveau in Paris and Piotr Czajkowski Hall in Moscow. He has been cooperating with many well-known artists such as: Maria Joao, Augustin Dumay, Gary Hoffman, Mischa Maisky, Christian Arming, Michael Tabachnik. He has been performing with many orchestras: NOSPR, Sinfonia Varsovia, Brussels Philharmonic, Orchestre Philharmonic Royal de Liege, Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra, „Arcata” Stuttgart Kammerorchester, Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie, AUKSO Chamber Orchestra, Bratislava Chamber Orchestra, Leopolis Chamber Orchestra. In the past few years Adam Krzeszowiec took part in many prestigious music festivals: Classical music Festival in Verbier, Sommets Musicaux Festival in Gstaad, International Music Academy - Switzerland in Rolle, Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, Casals Festival in Prades, PODIUM Festival, Ensemble Festival in Książ.

Since 2010 he has been performing in a duet with Anna Krzeszowiec. Together they won a Grand Prix at 11th ‘Premio Citta di Padova’ Music Festival in Padua, Italy; and I prize at Malta International Music Competition in 2014.

Since 2012 he has been holding the position of the Principal Cellist in the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra and the position of a lecturer in the Department of String Instruments at The Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice.

He received a scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, from the Mayor of Katowice and from the Silesia Province Marshal. He was also a winner of ‘Młoda Polska’ scholarship program, and Yamaha Foundation award.
