3 Doors Down
was formed in the small Mississippi town of Escatawpa in the mid 1990s by a group of high school friends. The band is Brad Arnold, lead vocals; Matt Roberts, guitar; Todd Harrell, bass and Chris Henderson, guitar.

After selling 12 million albums since their debut in 2000, 3 Doors Down are releasing their third studio album entitled Seventeen Days (Republic/Universal) on February 8, 2005. The album, recorded at Ocean Way Studios in Nashville, Tennessee and produced by Johnny K (Finger 11, Disturbed) features twelve original songs including the road weary ballad "Landing In London" which features Bob Seeger.

Originally a trio consisting of vocalist and drummer Brad Arnold, guitarist Matt Roberts and bassist Todd Harrell, the band soon added guitarist Chris Henderson and retained a studio drummer so that Arnold could come forward and sing live.

The record's first single "Let Me Go" was released to rock radio in December 2004 and is already Top 10 on most rock stations nationwide and climbing the Top Twenty of Billboard's various rock charts, including #9 Mainstream Rock (1/29/05) and #16 Modern Rock (1/29/05).

The corresponding video for "Let Me Go" was added to national formats (Jan 28) and features young actors Jodi Lyn O'Keefe (Boston Legal) and Jesse Metcalfe (Desperate Housewives).

No stranger to hit singles, 3 Doors Down have had six #1 singles - "Kryptonite," "Duck & Run," "Loser," "Be Like That," "When I'm Gone" and "Here Without You," making them one of the most popular and consistently successful rock bands in recent history. According to Billboard Magazine, they were the first debut act to ever have had a #1 single at four different radio formats simultaneously with "Kryptonite" and the quintet went on to win the 2003 Billboard Music Awards for "Best Pop/Rock Group" and "Best Hot 100 Single," as well as earning the distinction of seeing "When I'm Gone" become the most played song in 2003 according to the Nielson Vegas for Artist of the Year: Modern AC Radio. In the past four years, 3 Doors Down have moved from accomplishment to accomplishment, clearly establishing themselves as an exceptional band, both in the studio and on stage.

Seventeen Days promises to continue the high standards set by its successful forbears. It is the band's first studio album since 2002's multi-platinum Away from The Sun and the first new material since 2003's RIAA Gold certified live EP Another 700 Miles. Seventeen Days shows growth and maturity in both musicianship and songwriting. talents over the course of the disc, easily transitioning from aggro rockers like "Live For Today" to plaintive ballads such as the album closing "Here By Me."

An exceptional live band, 3 Doors Down stands among the top concert draws in North America, performing over 300 sold-out live shows a year. The band plan to tour extensively for Seventeen Days and have some special events lined up for fans including a live concert at the Daytona International for 200,000 people on February 12th.
