Info for CSN 2012
CSN 2012 is a 25-song set presenting the trio's first live performance film in more than 20 years. Captured in high-resolution audio during the early portion of CSN's ongoing 2012 world tour.
CSN 2012's repertoire spotlights classic hits such as "Marrakesh Express," "Our House," "Southern Cross," "Deja Vu, "Long Time Gone," and "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes," as well as the new songs "Radio," "Almost Gone," and a cover of Bob Dylan's "Girl From The North Country." Pulling songs from the members' solo careers and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Buffalo Springfield, and Crosby/Nash in addition to the CSN catalog, the full set list is: "Carry On/Questions," "Marrakesh Express," "Long Time Gone," "Military Madness," "Southern Cross," "Lay Me Down," "Almost Gone," "Wasted On The Way," "Radio," "Bluebird," "Deja Vu," "Wooden Ships," "Helplessly Hoping," "In Your Name," "Girl From The North Country," "As I Come of Age," "Guinevere," "Johnny's Garden," "Learn to Live (So Begins the Task)," "Cathedral," "Our House," "Love the One You're With," "For What It's Worth," "Teach Your Children," and "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes."
Having already toured Australia/New Zealand and South America, Crosby, Stills & Nash are currently in the middle of the U.S. portion of their 2012 world tour. The players accompanying CSN on the road—and who are also featured playing and via interviews on CSN 2012—are: Todd Caldwell (organ), Shayne Fontayne (guitar), Steve DiStanislao (drums), Kevin McCormick (bass), and James Raymond (keyboards).
More than four decades since CSN first harmonized in Laurel Canyon, and played its first-ever concert as a trio at the legendary Woodstock festival, its members continue a creative partnership that is one of the most influential and enduring in contemporary music. David Crosby, Stephen Stills, and Graham Nash have each been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice—once with Crosby, Stills & Nash, and a second time with The Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, and The Hollies, respectively. They have also been inducted into the Songwriter's Hall of Fame, with the honor recognizing both CSN as a group, and each member as individual solo artists.
CSN's music first became a cornerstone of rock 'n roll with the self-titled 1969 debut LP, one of Rolling Stone's "500 Greatest Albums of All Time." Ever since—through changing times, various configurations, and acclaimed solo careers—Crosby, Stills & Nash have continued to tour and record as "three together."
"CSN absolutely killed it. Every song. No lulls. No filler... It's hard to believe that any band in 2012 would be putting on better shows than it did in 1969, but CSN did just that." (Mark Brown, MSN Music)
