Finally, the first full-fledged live release of US Progressive Metal pioneers Fates Warning for almost two decades - which also includes a total of 23 songs with a total playing time of 138 minutes.
"Live Over Europe" has been performed at various concert venues (Aschaffenburg / Germany, Belgrade / Serbia, Thessaloniki and Athens / Greece, Rome and Milan / Italen, Budapest / Hungary and Ljubljana / Slovenia) during the European headliner tour "Theories Of Flight" The following band line-up was recorded in January 2018: Ray Alder (vocals), Jim Matheos (guitars), Joey Vera (bass & vocals), Bobby Jarzombek (drums) and Mike Abdow (guitars & vocals). This live release follows the hugely successful, recent 2016 studio album "Theories Of Flight", a work that has been four times in professional circles not only for "Album of the Month" (or even "Album of the Year") had been, but also with placements in # 12, Italy # 80, The Netherlands # 70, Belgium # 133 (Flemish) / # 192 (Wallonia) or even the US # 2 Billboard Heatseekers / # 62 Current Top 200 album. As with "Theories Of Flight", also "Live Over Europe" was mixed in the Swedish Fascination Street Studios by Jens Bogren (Opeth, Kreator, Symphony X, Haken), and subsequently mastered by Tony Lindgren.

Fates Warning
The legendary metal band Fates Warning began in the early 1980's playing a traditional style of heavy metal. However, they quickly began to adopt a more technically proficient style influenced by Rush and are considered by many to be the first true prog-metal band.
While the band has subsequently moved in more melodic and ambient directions, they have remained a vibrant and well-respected cornerstone for the prog camp within the heavy metal strata.
