Info for Fragile - Delicate Moments

Calming and soothing piano music with strings and a touch of electronic is guaranteed to bring you a peaceful, serene, relaxing atmosphere.

Josh Wynter is an award-nominated composer living in Cape Town, South Africa. He is the musical force behind a number of hit international series such as Bitten, Neill Anthony Private Chef and Ocean Adventurer, with feature film credits including scoring multi award-winning Nobody’s Died Laughing, and Jake Reid’s The Antwerp Dolls.

The son of a 1960s pop singer, but also classically trained from a young age, Josh’s work often transverses the stylistic dichotomy of his heritage, evading easy classification and showcasing a musical mind that is endlessly curious.

Josh Wynter, piano

Josh Wynter
is a British pianist and composer based in Cape Town, South Africa.

His classical training beginning as head chorister of Chichester Cathedral, but being the son of a 1960s pop star naturally bestowed a passion for contemporary styles and artists that has fuelled demand for his incredibly diverse scores for television and film, all of which delve generously deep into both spheres of the musical diaspora.

Graduation from Bristol University with a first class degree in music and a masters in scoring for film and television was swiftly followed by original commissions from celebrated Scottish photographer Rankin, and Josh has not looked back since, embracing everything from wildlife documentaries to commercial projects with the same attention to detail and natural curiosity that marks his creative process.

Original scores for international award-winning television series Ocean Adventurer, Neill Anthony Private Chef, Sarah Graham’s Food Safari, Bitten: Sarah Graham Cooks Cape Town have successfully employed styles that range from sweeping epic orchestral works to cutting edge electronica.

An international Music and Sound Award nominated (and Cannes Lion-winning) advert scored by Josh Pearl & Dean ‘Tumbleweed’ was recorded in 1950s Western style live in Cape Town with full orchestra and other prominent television adverts for Emirates, Mazda, KWV, JC Le Roux, Woolworths Australia and ExxonMobil are more recent examples of Josh’s ability to embrace and harness the power of musical diversity.

Josh’s feature film credits include award-winning gangster thriller, The Antwerp Dolls and award-winning sci-fi web series Horizon, as well feature documentary Nobody’s Died Laughing, which stars Charlize Theron, Dame Janet Suzman and Sophia Loren among others.
