Enescu is Romania’s most notable composer – and one of the most neglected composers of the 20th century. This release demonstrates a master of orchestral colour and impressive imagination.

Artistic director of the Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra from 2009-2013, Hannu Lintu is a sought-after conductor and from 2013/14 assumes the post of chief conductor of the Finnish RSO.
