The album contains masterful works from brilliant conductors, including Tchaikovsky’s Suite from Swan Lake, Glazunov’s Two Concert Waltzes, Shostakovich’s The Golden Age, and Stravinsky’s Circus Polka. The album does an excellent job of preserving the important role that ballet has in Russian musical culture.
