One of Europe s best trombone players! On this new record, Nils Wogram shows a different angle of his musicality, playing with a group of highly regarded European jazz musicians. With Complete Soul, Wogram produces a broad and full sound, with songs that showcase his leadership and trendsetting in jazz.
The septet is something like a big band in pocket format. Energetic and symphonic like a large ensemble and communicative and flexible like a small band. It features each player individually as well as my composing and arranging. Due to the missing bass functions are open and the band sound is unique. This is the septet`s second album. Recorded at studio P4, Berlin. The band set up in a circle around two mics.
