Bettina Aust
is the prize winner of both the 2015 German Music Competition and the 2014 Markneukirchen International Instrumental Competition. The clarinetist is a sought-after chamber musician and soloist. She regularly gives concerts with orchestras such as the Beethoven Orchester Bonn and the Lübeck Philharmonic Orchestra. Tours have taken her to numerous countries throughout Europe and Asia. In 2014 Bettina Aust was appointed principal clarinet of the Augsburg Philharmonic. She studied under Sabine Meyer (Lübeck), Johannes Peitz (Hanover) and Pascal Moragues (Paris) and was a long-time scholarship recipient of the German National Academic Foundation.
