Born in 1987, winner of numerous international prizes, including first prize at the Long-Thibaud-Crespin Competition, Aylen Pritchin is one of the most promising and versatile Russian violinists of his generation. He pursues a brilliant international career. To the extent of his exceptional talent, he gives us in this CD some of the most important and significant works of the twentieth century ever written for solo violin.

Aylen Pritchin
is one of the most interesting and versatile Russian violinists of his generation. The young violinist is the First Prize winner of the 2014 Long-Thibaud-Crespin Competition and also got SACEM prize for the contemporary piece.

Among the other prizes he has been awarded in the last years there are Yuri Temirkanov prize, the Sion-Valais Competition (2009), the Kreisler Competition in Vienna (2010), the Oistrakh Competition in Moscow (2010), the Wieniawski Competition in Poznan (2011). Other competitions are: Tchaikovsky V International Youth Competition 2004 (Japan, 1st prize and golden medal); Yampolsky IV

International competition 2006 (Russia, 1st prize); Vladigerov International competition 2007 (Bulgaria, 1st prize, special award for the best performance of Pancho Vladigerov’s works); Canetti International Violin Competition 2009 (Italy, 1st prize ,special prize for the best performance of contemporary piece).

Aylen Pritchin has a very active concert career in Russia and abroad. He gave performances in numerous cities of Russia, Switzerland, Netherlands, Italy, Israel, Poland, Palestine, Belgium, Sweden, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Japan. Aylen Pritchin has performed in Konzerthaus Vienna, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Musikaliska Stockholm, Mozarteum Salzburg, Tchaikovsky Conservatory Moscow, Théâtre des Champs-Élysées Paris. As a soloist he has collaborated with such conductors as Cornelius Meister, Yuri Simonov, Dorian Wilson, Shlomo Mintz, Fabio Mastrangelo, Roberto Benzi, Pascal Rophé, the orchestras were Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, The Svetlanov Orchestra, St.Petersburg Academic Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre National des pays de la Loire, Poznan Philharmonic Orchestra, ORF Symphonierchester Wien, Amadeus Chamber Orchestra, Dohnanyi Orchestra Budafok.

Born in Saint-Petersburg Aylen Pritchin began playing violin at age six and later enrolled in the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, studying with Eduard Grach. He plays a violin made by Gennaio Gagliano 1765.
